                Be A Volunteer Today!  It's Easy!

 

  You can volunteer an hour, several hours a day, a week, or   once a week. If you're not experienced, we'll train you.

 Any time you spend with the horses, miniature horses and   miniature donkeys affects them in a positive way.

 And it will have a positive effect on you too!

  We proudly announce the addition of volunteer Jessica Wood who grooms the horses every Wednesday and even helps repair fences! She works as a Physician's Associate here in Ocala. We are so blessed to have her! Welcome,Jessica!

Join the Cause

Volunteering at Painted Pony Pastures is a great way to make a positive impact on the lives of our horses. We need volunteers to help with tasks such as grooming, exercising, and feeding our animals. Our team is dedicated to providing a safe and enjoyable environment for both our animals and volunteers. If you're interested in volunteering, please contact us for more information.

 Please find it in your hearts to help us by either giving a donation or volunteering to work with the animals.  We've financed this small rescue with our own money since 2007.  However, since we're both retired and in our 70's, we find we need help or we can't continue to keep the rescue going.

 About half of our horses and donkeys can't be placed because of their age or medical conditions but they still enjoy being part of the herd.

 

 We've rescued, rehomed or given sanctuary to about 50 horses since the beginning.  We'd like to help even more with your assistance.
